About the Artist | (Born late 1960's, Hopi) A member of the Corn Clan, Wallace Youvella, Jr. is the great grandson of the original Nampeyo, grandson of Fannie Nampeyo and son of Wallace Youvella Sr. and Iris Youvella Nampeyo. Youvella Jr. is referenced in Gregory Schaaf's book of Hopi-Tewa Pottery as well as Rick Dillingham's publication Fourteen Families in Pueblo Pottery (1994). |
