About the Artist | (Born 1957, Santa Clara) A member of the Corn Clan, Roller has produced pottery during two periods (1973-1986) and (July 1999 forward). Between these two periods, Roller worked as a Registered Nurse. A granddaughter of Margaret Tafoya, daughter of Toni Roller, Deborah Morning Star Roller is known for her carved blackware. The artist is pictured on page 85 of Gregory Schaaf's Pueblo Indian Pottery 750 Artist Biographies. |
